Sorry you're having trouble, but actually this surprises me...!
The "can't redirect" problem was a 2.0.x issue which I thought I'd handled better in 2.1.x (at least, it handles better with the test scenarios I was using... guess it doesn't cover whatever changed on your system).
That problem used to occur when the database information or $g_root_dir value in your config.php file was no longer correct. This can occur if the hosting provider moves your domain to a different location on the server, or the database info has changed. But like I said, it should be fixed in 2.1.0... hmm.

If not, let me know and I'll try to help debugging it remotely - it'll take a bit of back and forth.
