Ah...! Just so you know, when upgrading the Core it's easiest to just click on the "Update" link within Form Tools. That passes all information about your installed components to the upgrade script which constructs an upgrade file (including API, modules, themes AND the Core). That file won't include the /install folder.

But the way you did it is totally fine too.
