Ok so I fixed the problem with the blank screen. I had to upload everything in Binary mode and change the permissions folder.

So now I have another problem. MySQL says that my version is 3.23.42 but in reality my version is 4.1.20. I have contacted my hosting company to see what they can fix but does anyone have an idea as to why the FT ir reporting a different version than what is actually there??

I have to check a different server for mySQL version. Where in the code do I tell it to check so that I can get past the check version screen?

I do have version 4.1.2.

Help me out so that I can get this thing up and running. I have used FT 1 for at least a year and loved it. I needed a few more options that FT2 has and really want to upgrade.
