pushcreative,

Have you gone to the Settings menu as admin under the Files menu option?

On this tab you can use the "Test Folder Permissions" button and the "Confirm Folder-URL" button to test your configuration.

After that if no error clues I would go to your httpd configuration folder on your PC and examine the "error.log" file for errors (after you tried an upload). On a Windows system where I use Xampp:

C:\xampp\apache\logs\error.log
