The next step after completing the installation is to create your first form. You'll want to decide whether you want an internal or external form depending on your needs. Of course, you can do as many as you want.

The documentation will describe internal vs. external, and within the external forms the choice between process.php and the API. Also consider getting the Form Builder module (http://modules.formtools.org/form_builder/) if you want an easy way to create forms without having to code the forms yourself.
