So, I decided to simply put the form inside an iFrame and break out of it before going over to PayPal. All works fine, but when directed back to the thankyou page, I experience 2 things:
1. PayPal: After purchase is complete, right before PayPal directs me back to the clients website, I get a popup window: "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencryped connection and could easily be read by a third party. Are you sure you want to continue sending this information? Continue / Cancel" I don't recall this happening prior to upgrading FormTools (current v2.2.5). It doesn't seem like an expected / standard HTTPS to HTTP response.
2. Finalize: Once on the thankyou page, sometimes I see the form data, sometimes I don't. Either way (i think), the form data does make it into the database, but the problem is, it is not marked "yes" under the is_finalized. Therefore, I don't see it in the FT admin and no emails are sent out.
Any help/direction is much appreciated. Did I mess something up or is it possible that I need to change something due to the upgrade? This code is on top of my step2 page:
<?php
$curr_folder = dirname(__FILE__);
require_once("$curr_folder/includes/library.php");
$fields = ft_api_init_form_page($pp["form_id"], $pp["mode"]);
if ($pp["mode"] == "initialize")
{
$params = array(
"submit_button" => "Registration2",
"next_page" => "step4.php",
"form_data" => $_POST,
"finalize" => true
);
}
else
{
$params = array(
"submit_button" => "Registration2",
"next_page" => "paypal_submit.php",
"form_data" => $_POST
);
}
ft_api_process_form($params);
?>
<?php
require_once("/htdocs/www/registration/global/api/api.php");
$fields = ft_api_init_form_page();
$params = array(
"submit_button" => "Registration2",
"next_page" => "step4.php",
"form_data" => $_POST,
"finalize" => true
);
ft_api_process_form($params);
?>
This is the code on step4:
<?php
$curr_folder = dirname(__FILE__);
require_once("$curr_folder/includes/library.php");
$fields = ft_api_init_form_page();
ft_api_clear_form_sessions();
?>
It ends up that I just started from scratch. Wanted to avoid that, but I couldn't wait. My form now gets finalized.
