no field options smartfill

Hi. I've been using FT 1.5.1 for a while, and then I tried to install FT2 and I couldn't import the data into FT2. I don't remember the details, just that I decided to install FT2 from scratch. When adding my first form, smartfilling the names worked just fine, but it didn't work for the field options. Neither when editing the field option groups, not even copying the specific field in a blank page. The problem? this particular field is a countries dropdown and I really don't want to fill manually all the 200 names (the error is "Sorry, we couldn't find a form field with that name on the page specified.")

I tried adding the form via API, because I'll be adding more complex forms in the future, but when testing the form, I received an error message telling me the ft_api_init_form_page function wasn't defined.

I'm starting to think this is an environment issue, but the only setting I've changed since I was working with FT1.5.1 was register_globals: off

Good to hear from you!

Is there anything unusual about the form you're trying to add, like sections being generated by javascript or anything like that?

If not, would it be possible for me to see the form? I'd like to test it on my own system to see if I can break it myself.

Don't worry about the register_globals setting - that shouldn't affect anything. And it's VERY good that it's off!

I just got this error after upgrading my Godaddy certificate and trying to fill in the form fields of a secure page that begins with https://

I had to create another unsecure page and auto-fill the form fields from there.

Using version 2.0.4 (will upgrade soon!)
