Dependent fields

Hi,
All

First of all I'm so happy with the FORM TOOLS solution it really helps me.

I'm in the process of finishing a form and I need some advise regarding a dependent field for the registration of my users.

The problem is that I need to setup city registration like that:

1- Dropdown filed to show: state example: AM - AMAZONAS
2- If dropdown field number 1 is selected in: AM - AMAZONAS
then the other dropdown should show: IPIXUNA
IRANDUBA

To be more detailled as programmer I show it this way:

PAIS ESTADO CIDADE
BRASIL AM - AMAZONAS IPIXUNA
BRASIL AM - AMAZONAS IRANDUBA

I want to know if there is a way to setup this inside admin of FORM TOOLS. If not can anyone tell me the way to do it manually and in witch file I have to do the codding?? I couls do it the old way with JS but don't know where to setup my code.

Please let me know if you have an advise or solution, I think I'm not the first one with that quiestion.

I spent all my night looking the forum and all the documentation and I don't find any solution for my issue. I need some urgent help, I'm sure that I'm not the first one with a proble lile mine.

I need to have 2 related DropDown thet when I select a country I see the related city.

I don't know where to search more.

Hello Mario,

Unfortunately, this is not possible to do on either the Form Builder or within the Form Tools admin. You would need to customize the code yourself in order to achieve that which would be a significant amount of work to make it work dynamically. The best solution would be to just list out all the options in the drop down for each field.
