Disappearing dates - noob problem

Hi

FT version 2.2.5

Dates entered in form field get stored but disappear from form view.

Have to admit to being new to this.
Have created a date field (appointment date), correct data-type etc.

When a user enters the date via their view of the form the date disappears along with the submission date when Update is clicked.

I have deleted all records, deleted the field and recreated the field.

Again, then date disappears - but it does get stored!

Help?

Adding / replying to my own post:

Removed formtools / table, reinstalled formtools, add a table with a date field. Added a record, all OK

Added a Hook (auto adding username to a field), and the date field become empty when the update button clicked, the date still staying in the underlying table.

Uninstalled Hook module and the date problem goes away.........
