Installed your latest Form Tools Core Update v2.2.7 on two client websites yesterday.
Release Date : Feb 15th 2014, "Bug fix for displaying radios, checkboxes & dropdowns in the Form Builder / Core."
Now, when email confirmation messages are sent, any data entered via Dropdown, Radio Button or Checklist fields DO NOT APPEAR in the email.
Checked the database. All the data entered does appear there and was saved into the appropriate fields properly.
Details should therefore appear in the email message, but no.
There were only 2 files modified in your v2.2.7 update :
formtools\global\library.php
formtools\global\code\field_types.php
For now, I restored both files from the previous Form Tools Core v2.2.6. All data now appears in Email Messages. Everything appears to work fine.
Not certain what "bug" your update was actually meant to fix ?

You are correct. Latest FormTools Core is v2.2.7. My mistake.

Hi Gary,
The update for the Form Tools core was to fix how radio buttons, check boxes and drop downs were being displayed. However this caused a new issue that you experienced that we did not immediately catch. Version 2.2.7 has been temporarily removed and the download rolled back to 2.2.6.

Can you provide an update on this bug?
I downloaded and updated to 2.2.7 on the 19 March 2014, as it was highlighted as an available update.
It has been killing me as to why the dropdowns values have stopped displaying in views, exports and emails. I have been going around in circles, double and triple checking everything.
The update still seems to be up and NOT rolled back to 2.2.6.
I need to know when this will be fixed, as I am now in trouble on a project.

Hello Joe,
Version 2.2.6 exhibits the same problem. I did a new install just to check it out and it fails to display the data in dropdowns, radio and checkboxes for columns of this type in "view submissions" before you actually select one to edit. I also went to the online demo which says version 2.2.7 changed one of the fields to a dropdown, went to the submissions page and the data was missing.
This is kind of a huge issue that probably has a simple fix, but it has been more than 30-days since this issue was posted. Can you check this out and give all of use that are using the paid modules version of Formtools plus the freebee stuff and update for a solution?

Has there been a fix for this? I've been trying to figure out why the dropdown data was not showing in the email. Been working on this for almost two hours. I then look it up online and BAM! Here I am.
I'm using 2.2.7
OK, I noticed in another post that the only way to fix is to roll back to 2.2.6 so I'll give that a try.

Yes, no bug fix released as yet. You need to rollback to stable version v2.2.6
