Problems with (4. Create Config File) during install
#1
When installing formtools and I get to step 4, I get the following message:

We couldn't create your config.php file. You will need to create the file manually.

After manually creating and uploading the config.php file, I get an error going to the next step. Anyone have this issue?

Hi tpatz,

Yeah, there's been quite a few errors reported about step 4 & 5. But what's the specific error you're getting exactly?

I had the same issue, it does not give an error.

Hi Gonzo,

Ah - relating to your other thread, it sounds like maybe PHP sessions aren't enabled on your system. Maybe give what I suggested in the other thread a go and let me know.

I need to add better error checking on the installation script: namely, checking that sessions are enabled + if not, forcing the $g_session_type = "database"; var in your config.php file.

Let me know!
