OK, i've been checking the forum on a regular base but i am still missing an advanced search on more than one field, we have a huge database with forms and it is not possible to create seperate views because the list with views is becoming huge this way.
is there any solution for this?

The search in the forms can search a specific field or all fields, so the search is actually not limtied to only one field.
If you want to limit the searching to specific fields, the best way to do this really is with views. I know you mentioned you don't want to create separate views however the function of the view is to limit data that is accessed rather than searching a huge database with lots of fields. To limit the number of views you have to create you can always have more fields in each view and organize them into View field groups and tabs.
