I did this in the middle of the night and kept login information but can't figure out how to get into the client this morning. Installing it turned my website into a php website.

I know this sounds silly but how do I launch the client? I can't even get started.

You should have set up an admin account. You will then go to /admin in your for tools directory and log in. You can then set up client accounts in the admin area. I hope this helps.

Formtools was installed in the root of public_html and index.php replaced the home page. Once I got that rats nest cleaned out and I ran formtools again in a subdirectory. Now it works.
