Installing Form Tools on a subdomain?
#1
Hi guys,

I've been using FT1.5 and, more recently, FT2 for a while now. A real life saver! But I would like to know if it is at all possible to install form tools on a subdomain AND have it function on our main domain?

e.g.
install FT to "forms.mydomain.com" and build the forms on "mydomain.com".

I'd like to be able to separate such applications through the use of subdomains wherever possible to help me better manage our applications. Without resorting to iframes, is this even remotely possible with Form Tools or am I merely asking for trouble?

I'd appreciate any advice anyone has to offer. Thanks a ton; and keep up the great work!

Hey crunchers,

Good question. You can certainly install it at one location then use POST forms from the other, but I'm not sure about API forms. I *suspect* it would be okay, but to be perfectly honest I haven't ever tried it.

Sorry for not being able to give a more definitive response...

If you try it, let me know how it goes.
