Haha - funnily enough I was talking with my business partner about this exact feature last night. He wanted a quick way set an entire user account as "readonly", instead of having to create copies of the Views and remove the option to edit the fields. I gotta admit, I thought that was pretty reasonable - so just so you know, I'll be adding that feature (a "readonly" setting for each user account) into an upcoming version of the 2.1.0 alpha. Hopefully it'll help cut down on configuration time a little.
