Welcome to the forums!
Very interesting idea! Right now, no, there's nothing "out the box" that would let you do it - but using the API, you can do quite a bit. For instance, the ft_api_show_submissions() function lets you show paginated lists of the form submission data in your own web pages. But it's not searchable, which is a pity...

How important a feature is this for you? I must say, it would be a nice addition to that function to permit search criteria as well. I could then write up a tutorial on how to do it. Let me know.

Very important. Presently, Google is being used but it's such a cumbersome way, and any search result of the dbase is a small map with a ton of flags for each 'place'.
The site that will use Form Tools (FT) is the main source for well, sources. Several visits during a day look for sources in their city. I think I have it set so only those with permissions can enter data. That's the easy part thanks to FT.
Reading the data and presenting it using search terms is the hard part.
I must confess, I haven't done much with FT since first posting this. I intend to re-visit it today. I have been looking for a script that will read the dBase. I lost the link, now to find it again and see if I can't marry up the two.
If you have a better idea - I'm all ears because I am very little knowledge of scripting.
